Alice Prince, Ed.D.
CEO and President
Dr. Alice Prince, holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business, a Master of Art in Communications, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Dr. Prince has a Post Masters’ Certification from Washington University in Program Evaluation, and a CITI Certification for international research.
Dr. Prince served as the Executive Director of an American job center, where she excelled in improving the lives and prospects of the participants. Alice has been entrusted with over $25 million in government funds from a variety of programs and departments. She has been in charge of a number of federal and state contracts covering justice reform, economically empowering programs, mentorship, employment and education, workforce development, healthcare employment programs, financial literacy, and legal services.
Dr. Prince chose to work in the private sector after serving in the government for almost eleven years. She created Pathways United, an organization that nurtures leaders and young people throughout the world. She has long understood the value of education when it comes to employment and raising our society’s collective conscience. Her mission is to help people understand the importance of cooperation, diversity initiatives, and partnership. From a technical standpoint, Alice is known among her peers and clients as a “workforce industry specialist” for her ability to provide excellent technical support, training, and overall customer service. Dr. Prince and the Pathways United team is now blazing a trail for people of color in the bioenergy and renewable sector.
In her spare time, Dr. Prince makes sure to practice self-care while also helping others. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, serves on the board of directors for Catholic Charities, and is the host and Executive Director of the Good Morning Saint Louis TV show. Dr. Prince’s faith propels her ahead daily. Still, she is no stranger to awards and accolades given for recognition in areas such as economic empowerment, workforce development, and being a community trailblazer.
Dr. Prince and her spouse have three children, two dogs, and one granddog. In addition to all of her business acumen, she is a well-known children’s author and a harp enthusiast. She wrote a song, Issa Vibe, that was published on iTunes.
Dr. Prince is a two-time international best-selling author for her chapter in Owning Your G.R.I.T. entitled “Learning How To Kill” and her chapter “Always Last in Line” for the Ruth Bader anthology, Living My tRuth. She is in process of penning a chapter in the anthology Overcoming. Black women leaders are the country partners to write a book and tell their personal stories on how they overcame hardships. The C-Suite leaders hopes their stories will help others climb the corporate ladder and find their peace.
