(Saint Louis, MO) Pathways United was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy Economic Entrepreneur Impact and Minority Programs to help create and support small minority-owned businesses. Thirty (30) small businesses and ten (10) HBCUs will be chosen to participate with the criteria of being minority-owned or operated, and with the requirement that women of color head 50% of the business participants.
The primary objective of the program is to ensure that minority business enterprises and institutions can participate in the U.S. Department of Energy projects and initiatives. The technical assistance proposed in the project is supercharged support to ensure capacity building in research, development, demonstration, application submission, and other activities within the U.S. Department of Energy.
