Summer Jobs ProgramPathways United will deliver high-quality structured technical and non-technical workforce development training in work readiness and growth industries. Pathways United will assign each young person a Summer Jobs Mentor. The mentor will be with the young person through the course of the six-week summer jobs programs. The services are delivered on the Zoom virtual platform. However, young people will have telephone conferences with their Summer Jobs Mentor weekly. The program is a high-touch program with high engagement. The weekly telephone calls are designed to build authentic and trusting relationships with the youth. They are designed to help mitigate any issue that might prevent the young person from logging on to class. The phone calls will also act as a catalyst to support the youth’s interest in work and school options beyond the summer jobs program. Pathways United is well equipped to deliver virtual programming and has experience with delivering education and workforce programs virtually.
